This is the patch set I use at home. It seems to do well for me.
Various people have expressed interest in running it, and I can't
host large-scale downloads at home, so I've put it up here.

This is merely a combined set of patches from around and small
tweaks in various places.

It primarily features things that are supposed to be performance
enhancements, though I don't claim to have scientifically tested them.
